William (Bill) Edwards Richards was born in Toledo, OH. He served in the army, and spent 49 years married to the love of his life, Mary Richards. They had four caring daughters: Denise Spaid, Lori O'Brien, Marcy Fischbach, and Kelly Capelli. In Toledo, Bill owned and operated The Cape House then retired to Sanford, Florida to open Billy Boy's, famous for their chili dogs. Bill spent the last 5 years "living like a king," as he called it, in Las Vegas. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald Richards and wife Patricia Richards. He is pre-deceased by his sister Joyce Eighmey and brother Calvin Richards. Bill leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored him too. Although sudden, Bill passed away peacefully. Known for his practical jokes and mischievousness, he would go out of his way to make someone laugh. He would want us to celebrate his life, look back on fond memories of our time with him, and most of all, smile. Please help us do that by uploading your photos, or leaving behind a short story about him.
